Your subscription is billed by Apple, not by us, so it is cancelled through Apple. On your iPhone: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Animal Based Coach → Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
If you cancel during the 14-day free trial, you are not charged at all. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends — Apple bills automatically after that.
Open the app and go to Profile → Restore Purchases. This asks Apple directly what you own and re-links it to your account. It is the fix for a new phone, a reinstall, or a purchase that did not register.
If that does not work, email us. Do not buy a second subscription — we would rather fix it than take your money twice.
So it can prove whether a change to your diet actually moved anything. It reads seven things — heart rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep, steps, weight, body fat percentage and active energy — and it only ever reads. Nothing is written back to Health, ever.
The app works without it. You will still get your plan, your check-ins, your coach and your weekly verdict. What you lose is the passive proof: without a wearable, the app will not show you HRV or resting-heart-rate numbers, because it refuses to invent them.
You can grant or revoke access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Animal Based Coach.
There isn't one, on purpose. You sign in with Sign in with Apple — one tap, no password to remember and none for us to leak. It works on any iPhone signed in to an Apple Account.
In the app: Profile → Delete Account. This is permanent and immediate. It erases your profile, your check-ins, your plans, your bloodwork and your conversations with the coach from our servers. We do not keep a copy.
Deleting your account does not cancel your Apple subscription — cancel that separately in Settings (see above), or Apple will keep billing you for an app you no longer have an account on.
No. Animal Based Coach is a nutrition and habit-tracking tool. It is not a doctor, it does not diagnose, and it does not treat anything. If you are managing a medical condition, are pregnant, or take prescription medication, talk to your clinician before changing how you eat. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.
